Why Donate?
Friends of Laguna Honda (FLH) provides programs and equipment that enhance the quality of life for the residents of Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center (LHHRC).
Medicare and Medicaid are the primary funding sources for the Hospital and pay for only the basic elements of resident care. Contributions from FLH fund the acquisition and maintenance of equipment, which creates a more home-like environment, as well as a variety of programs, which engage, entertain and empower the residents.
All monetary contributions are fully tax-deductible.

- $25 = Bingo Prizes for a game with 50 residents
- $50 = A ballgame outing with refreshments for 8-12 residents
- $100 = 1 hour of live music for residents by a guitarist or pianist
- $150 = A pair of orthopedic shoes
- $500 = Annual subscription to a Chinese newspaper for residents
- $1000 = iPads for residents to use in their "neighborhoods"
